In the Gaza Strip in May of 2021, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) sent text messages to Palestinians living in the area in order to notify them their homes in the city center would be bombed and razed within the hour. The IDF claimed that it was done in a humanitarian spirit to warn civilians to flee their homes, who are treated as collateral damage in the IDF's fight against Hamas.
This song dramatizes that mad and inhumane occurrence.
lyrics
Where's our son and his Mom
The notification sent a directive
That our zone will be subject
Buildings turn to rubble
At moments notice
5 minutes left till the strike
Collect whatever memories
Hesitate to grieve and we die
Buildings turn to rubble
At moments notice
It's too late
